A Little Walrus with a Big Imagination

From building cubbies and hiding from his brother to racing billycarts down the hill, Daryl is always ready for the next adventure. His playful character encourages storytelling and imaginative play, while his own story tag helps children get to know their new forever friend.

The Story Behind The Little Dog Laughed

Founded in 2008 by Australian designer Kylie Platt, and the little dog laughed grew from a lifelong love of childhood, imagination and creating things by hand.

Inspired by memories of learning to sew, knit and crochet with her Nana, Kylie set out to create soft toys with the warmth and character of the treasured toys she remembered from childhood.

Today, each little friend is thoughtfully designed with beautiful fabrics, natural fibres where possible and carefully finished details, with a focus on creating toys that feel soft, familiar and made to last.

They aren't designed to be loved for just a little while. They're created to become part of childhood — held, taken on adventures and perhaps one day passed down to another little pair of hands.
